Welcome to the course “How-To-COIL.”
This course provides a practical introduction to Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) for educators and staff within the BAUHAUS4EU Alliance . COIL is an innovative teaching format that connects students and teachers from different countries through structured online collaboration embedded in existing courses.
In this course, you will learn what COIL is, how it works in practice, and how it can be integrated into your own teaching. You will explore key concepts, examples, and practical steps for designing a COIL activity together with an international partner.
The course is designed for anyone in the BAUHAUS4EU Alliance who is interested in incorporating international collaboration into their teaching, whether you are new to COIL or looking for guidance on implementing your first COIL project.
By the end of the course, you will have a clear understanding of the COIL approach and the basic tools and steps needed to start developing your own COIL-based learning experience.
