The field of artistic research encompasses a wide range of different approaches based on disciplinary and cultural backgrounds. The integration of theory and practice in artistic research is highly individual, varying from project to project, from the formulation of research questions to the development of methods to the presentation of results for various audiences. In this repeating scientific module, we take a close look at individual approaches, challenges, and milestones that will be presented and discussed in a nonhierarchical, peer-group setting with an open and critical yet encouraging and fault-and-failure-friendly atmosphere.
