Erzähle eine
Geschichte, wie auch immer, aber erzähle sie. Genieße die Schwierigkeit.
Gebe dem Geheimnisvollen Raum. Finde das Universelle im Kleinen. Sei nie
zufrieden. Gehe weit über das Persönliche hinaus.
Imitiere, kopiere und finden
dann deine eigene Stimme. Erzähle das, was du wissen willst.
Im Fachmodul „The Shape of Stories” werden Geschichten erzählt.

Tell a story, however you can, but tell it. Enjoy the difficulty. Give space to the mysterious. Find the universal in the small. Never be satisfied. Go far beyond the personal. Imitate, copy, and then find your own voice. Tell what you want to know.
In the course "The Shape of Stories," stories are told. With all their twists, breaks, repetitions, red threads, surprises, and moments of silence. And they are not just told, they are dissected, rearranged, rehearsed, repeated, radically shortened and retold. Because a story begins long before the first note and ends long after the last.
Along the lines of questions about content, structure, and dramaturgy, we will investigate in practical experiments how stories are created, what constitutes them and, above all, how they are told. The aim is to create manuscripts for short acoustic formats that make stories audible that we have never told before.
